Downloading & Onboarding to RxFood
Welcome to RxFood!
Whether you're here through your clinician or one of our partner programs, you're just a few simple steps away from unlocking powerful insights into your nutrition. RxFood makes it easy to track what you eat using nothing more than a quick photo.
Here’s how to get set up:
1. Register
Sign up through your clinician or an eligible RxFood program. Use the same email address you’ll log in with later. An invitation email, similar to what you see here, will be sent to your email.
2. Download the app
Open the invitation email (see sample below) and tap App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to install RxFood.
(Requires iOS 15+ / Android 11+)
3. Sign in and allow camera access
Launch the app, enter your registered email.
Note: Grant camera permission when prompted—this unlocks photo logging.
4. Connect your devices
If you’re using a Dexcom CGM, Apple Watch, Fitbit, or another compatible device, go to the
Integrations section on your
Profile page in the RxFood app to connect it. (View our CGM integration guide
here)
5. Snap your first meal
Take a quick photo of what you’re eating. Our AI handles the logging so you can focus on enjoying your food.
