Using MyFoods

Using MyFoods

MyFoods is RxFood’s space for grocery planning, meal inspiration, and food guidance. It helps you create a shopping list that supports your health goals while also considering cost, preferences, and dietary needs.

Creating your shopping list

When you open MyFoods, you can build your grocery list for the week by searching for food items and adding them directly to your list. Everything you plan to buy is kept in one place, making it easier to stay organized while shopping.

You can manage items on your list by swiping right on a food item to:

  • Save it for a future week
  • Delete it from your current list

Optimizing your list

Once your shopping list is ready, tap Optimize to receive personalized suggestions. RxFood analyzes your list and provides recommendations to improve both health and affordability.

Optimization takes into account:

  • Your health focus areas
  • What you’ve identified as important to your health
  • Any food or dietary restrictions you’ve set

Discovering recipes

The Recipes section highlights meals you may be interested in trying based on your preferences and health goals. When you select a recipe, you can view its ingredients and add them directly to your shopping list. MyFoods also includes a Recipe Builder, which allows you to create a recipe using ingredients you already have at home. This helps simplify meal planning and reduce food waste.

Learning with food

The Learn section offers culinary medicine–inspired learning modules that connect food choices to real health outcomes. These modules include:

  • Diabetes-focused education
  • GLP-1 journeys based on medications you’re taking
  • Nutrition topics such as protein and fiber

Setting your preferences

The Preferences section allows you to personalize your MyFoods experience. Here, you can set food preferences and dietary restrictions that shape the recommendations, recipes, and optimizations you receive.

MyFoods brings planning, learning, and personalization together, making it easier to shop with intention and support your health through everyday food choices.
